7/28/10 Night at John Ball Park Zoo

We spent a few hours at the zoo for my work (GFS) summer outing. We had a great time, especially Aidan who was in awe of everything!

My sister Sheila got married to Don Daniels on Saturday! It was a beautiful wedding and she looked beautiful!
Sara and I were lucky enough to be bridesmaids.

7/17/10 Hopkins 5K Run

Ran a 5k on Saturday morning- 7:30AM, glad it was that early before it got too hot. As you can see in this first pic, I got a medal. Got first place for women in my age group (35-39). Not sure how many were in my group, but we'll assume it was about 50 ;-) ). Honestly I think there were maybe 120ish people that ran and I got 37th place overall, so that is not bad. My time was 28 minutes and 15 seconds. Not as good as the DeBoer 5k of 26 min, 41 seconds, but I also haven't had time to practice run besides on the weekend this time either so I'm proud. My 11 year old neice Brianna ran it also and did an awesome job!

I was quite nervous, but glad I did it! My neice Brianna is # 3- 11 year old girl with the beautiful red hair. :)

Bryce is a monster!!!!!!!!

Aidan found the top to one of my old halloween costumes. He thought Bryce had to be a monster and wear it. :)

Aidan had a little fall slipping on water on the bathroom floor after his bath. His chin took a nasty bang. He was saying for a while "his teeth were not working" if he tried to eat.

Both boys seem close to sitting on their own, they both can hold this pose for quite a while, sometimes even without the boppys, I feel more secure with them there though....
