5/24/09 A Day at the Zoo

This was Aidan's first trip to the zoo, although he seemed to enjoy it, the bigger animals (such as the bears, lions, chimps, etc....) scared him. He kept saying he was "all done" when we were by them. The camels he liked though. A few years ago my work had a day at John Ball and I rode a camel with my neice Faith & nephew Dylan, it was fun!

5/24/09 Mr. Otter

I think Aidan's favorite was the Otter, it was very playful putting on a show for us. Luckily we were there early so we got to enjoy it all by ourselves.

Here are some flower beds Nolan put together, the one by the polebarn has been there for a few years, the ones by the house are new (obviously since this is the first spring we lived there).

We found this little guy in our yard, not sure how he got there. Nolan brought him back to the pond. He was quite feisty!
